¡¡¡¡On autumn,1929,Yu Youren viewed sweet-scented osmanthus around Tai lake.At that night,he put himself up Mudu and eated at Shijia Restaurant.After he drink three bowls of Bafei Soup,he felt delicious and wrote a improvisational poem:

¡¡¡¡"sweet-scented osmanthus is sweet when it blossoms out,view sweet-scented osmanthus around Tai lake,recall my returning to Mudu,I still want to degust Bafei Soup again"

¡¡¡¡On autumn,1934,Yu Youren came to Shijia Restaurant again and inscribed the signboard"well-known in Jiangnan".The story that Yu Youren and Li Gengyuan inscribed for Shijia Restaurnat spreaded fast.From then on,Bafei Soup and Shijia Restaurant is widely known not only in Jiangnan,but also all over the country. ¡¡¡¡

¡¡¡¡¡¡Besides ten known dishes,there is another famous dish,"tomato shelled shrimp crispy rice"This dish has a monicker"first dish all over the world".It was said that when Emperor Qianlong third visited Jiangnan ,he cryptially inspected Mudu and had dinner in Shijai Restaurant.The cook deepfried crispy rice and extracted shelled shrimp togather with chicken pieces and chicken soup.When he watered crispy rice with thick extract,it made a "zhizhi"sound and smelt sweet-scented.Qianlong thought highly of it after he had degusted the crispy rice and said that"this dish is firstly all over the world".The dish has other monicker"bomb aggressors"During the war fighting against Japan in Shanghai,Cai Tingkai,a noted Gen,the army corps commander of the Nineteenth Road Army,had quartered in Shijia Restaurant for two months.He said good while degusting this dish and asked dish title,the answer was "bomb aggressors".The Gen stroke the table and shouted bravo.The dish has another funny monicker"a lighting bolt".There was a legend of this monicker.Long long ago, the Tai lake flooded frequently and people had to reinforce the dyke regularly.Some year,an imperial envoy was appointed to supervise constructing dyke.When the project completed,the imperial envoy was invited to Shijia Restaurant by local authority.They eated and waited for the success news.At midnight,the cook saw a crispy rice.He hated the mealfeasants and had an idea.He cut the crispy rice into rhombic pieces and deepfried them.Then he extracted the leftover ,such as ham, shelled shrimp,fungusand tomato,etc ,having done all,he served the dish.When he watered crispy rice with thick extract,it made a "zhizhi"sound.The imperial envoy was waken up and asked the dish title.The cook showed resoucefulness in an emergency and answered that "this is a lighting bolt,which is cooked congratulating on closure of dyke.As soon as he answered,a hurrah was heard.The dyke was closure.the imperial envoy praise this dish "dexter,dexter"¡
